Dalam postingan ini saya akan memaparkan tentang ERP , Odoo, Modul Odoo, dan video tentang CRM (Customer Realtion Mgt)/Market, sebagai berikut:

1. Enterprise Resource Planning (Dalam Negeri)

   ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) adalah sebuah konsep untuk merencanakan dan mengelola sumber daya perusahaan meliputi dana, manusia, mesin, suku cadang, waktu, material dan kapasitas yang berpengaruh luas mulai dari manajemen paling atas hingga operasional di sebuah perusahaan agar dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal untuk menghasilkan nilai tambah bagi seluruh pihak yang berkepentingan (stake holder) atas perusahaan tersebut. 
   ERP terdiri dari 3 elemen yaitu Enterprise (perusahaan), Resource (sumber daya), dan Planning (Perencanaan). Ketiga konsep berujung pada sebuah kata kerja yaitu Planning, yang berarti menekankan pada aspek perencanaan sumber daya perusahaan. Sumber daya perusahaan seperti Finansial, SDM, Rantai Suplai, dan Customer dsb. ERP Mengintegrasikan semua sumber daya perusahaan.
   ERP berfungsi mengintegrasikan proses-proses penciptaan produk atau jasa perusahaan, mulai dari pemesanan bahan-bahan mentah dan fasilitas produksi sampai dengan terciptanya produk jadi yang siap ditawarkan kepada pelanggan (Indrajit, Djokopranoto, 2002). Selain itu ERP juga membantu mengintegrasikan data-data didalam organisasi didalam sebuah platform yang umum (ERP Wire, 2006).
   
   
   KELEBIHAN ERP
   • Integrasi antara area fungsional yang berbeda untuk meyakinkan komunikasi, produktifitas dan efisiensi yang tepat.
   • Rancangan Perekayasaan.
   • Pelacakan pemesanan dari penerimaan sampai fulfillment.
   • Mengatur saling ketergantungan dari proses penagihan material yang kompleks.
   • Pelacakan 3 cara yang bersesuaian antara pemesanan pembelian, penerimaan inventori, dan pembiayaan.
   • Akuntasi untuk keseluruhan tugas: melacak pemasukan, biaya dan keuntungan pada level inti.
   KELEMAHAN ERP
• Terbatasnya kustomisasi dari perangkat lunak ERP.
• Sistem ERP sangat mahal.
• Perekayasaan kembali proses bisnis untuk menyesuaikan dengan standar industri yang telah dideskripsikan oleh sistem ERP dapat menyebabkan hilangnya keuntungan kompetitif.
• ERP sering terlihat terlalu sulit untuk beradaptasi dengan alur kerja dan proses bisnis tertentu dalam beberapa organisasi
• Sistem dapat terlalu kompleks jika dibandingkan dengan kebutuhan dari pelanggan.
• Data dalam sistem ERP berada dalam satu tempat, contohnya : pelanggan, data keuangan. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan resiko kehilangan informasi sensitif, jika terdapat pembobolan sistem keamanan.

   When you search for "ERP" on the web, the sheer amount of information that comes up can be overwhelming—not to mention a little confusing. Every website seems to have its own definition of ERP, and one ERP implementation can vary widely from the next.    To get a deeper understanding of how ERP solutions can transform your business, it helps to get a better sense of what ERP actually is and how it works. Here's a brief introduction to ERP and why it seems like everyone's talking about it.
   ERP is an acronym for Enterprise Resource Planning, but even its full name doesn't shed much light on what ERP is or what it does.    A Brief History of ERP
   
   The term ERP was coined in 1990 by Gartner1, but its roots date to the 1960s. Back then, the concept applied to inventory management and control in the manufacturing sector. Software engineers created programs to monitor inventory, reconcile balances, and report on status. By the 1970s, this had evolved into Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems for scheduling production processes.
   In the 1980s, MRP grew to encompass more manufacturing processes, prompting many to call it MRP-II or Manufacturing Resource Planning. By 1990, these systems had expanded beyond inventory control and other operational processes to other back-office functions like accounting and human resources, setting the stage for ERP as we've come to know it.
   Today, ERP has expanded to encompass business intelligence (BI) while also handling "front-office" functions such as sales force automation (SFA), marketing automation and ecommerce. With these product advancements and the success stories coming out of these systems, companies in a broad range of industries—from wholesale distribution to ecommerce—use ERP solutions.
   Moreover, even though the "e" in ERP stands for "enterprise," high-growth and mid-size companies are now rapidly adopting ERP systems. Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions—also referred to as "cloud computing"—have helped fuel this growth. Cloud-based solutions not only make ERP software more affordable, they also make these systems easier to implement and manage. Perhaps even more importantly, cloud ERP enables real-time reporting and BI, making them even valuable to executives and staff seeking visibility into the business.
   As a result, companies of all sizes and a wide range of industries are transitioning to cloud ERP systems. In fact, Forrester predicts that SaaS-based ERP adoption will rise 21 percent annually through 2015.2 When you stop to consider the benefits of ERP, it's easy to see why it's become so popular and why its use will continue to grow so rapidly.
   
   The Business Value of ERP
   
   At its core, ERP helps employees do their jobs more efficiently by breaking down barriers between business units. More specifically, an ERP solution:
   • Gives a global, real-time view of data that can enable companies to address concerns proactively and drive improvements
   • Iproves financial compliance with regulatory standards and reduces risk
   • Automates core business operations such as lead-to-cash, order-to-fulfillment, and procure-to-pay processes
   • Enhances customer service by providing one source for billing and relationship tracking.

   OpenERP atau sekarang telah berganti nama menjadi Odoo, adalah aplikasi ERP yang didirikan oleh Fabien Pinckaers pada tahun 2002 di Belgia dengan menggunakan perusahaan OpenERP S.A, aplikasi ini mempunyai fitur atau modul diantaranya : HR, CRM, Sales,Purchasing, Accounting, Manufacturing dan masih banyak fitur lain yang sangat berguna bagi kepentingan perusahaaan.
   OpenERP S.A sekarang telah memiliki lebih dari 250 karyawan, 6 kantor (Belgian, San Fransisco, New York, Luxemburg, India dan Hongkong) dan mempunyai lebih dari 500 official partner di seluruh dunia.
   Odoo merupakan software yang mempunyai scope yang besar untuk kebutuhan kustomer karena:
   • Odoo menawarkan full suite of business apps yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan besar, dengan pemakaian secara user friendly
   • Odoo merupakan aplikasi yang fleksibel dan full integrasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan.
   • Odoo merupakan aplikasi open source, sehingga dapat disesuaikan dengan bisnis proses dari perusahaan.
   Odoo dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman python yang merupakan bahasa pemrograman yang berorientasi pada objek.

   Odoo is an all-in-one management software that offers a range of business applications that form a complete suite of enterprise management applications. The Odoo solution is ideal for SMEs, but fits both small and large companies alike. Odoo is an all-in-one business software capable of covering all business needs, including CRM, Website/e-Commerce, billing, accounting, manufacturing, warehouse- and project management, and inventory, all seamlessly integrated.
   Odoo offers three separate versions of the solution; Odoo Enterprise, Odoo Online SaaS (Software as a Service) version, and the Odoo Community version. The Enterprise version is self hosted, it includes all the apps, and the pricing starts at $360 per user per year, with a minimum of 5 users.The Odoo Online version is hosted on a cloud, and the first app is offered for free as a standalone app for unlimited users. After the first app, there is a fixed monthly subscription fee for the apps used and the number of users.The Community version is the open source version. The Source code for the OpenObject framework and core ERP (enterprise resource planning) modules is curated by the Belgium-based Odoo S.A. The last fully featured Open Source version was 8.0 (LTS), available on GitHub under AGPLv3. Odoo is the most popular open source ERP system.
